Ernie!!!!!!! How else am I gonna get my C-7 AOA fix if your not there??????? Thank You for the year and a half of faithful enduring service. You give Great credit to yourself and.........Well you already know the rest. Anyway, have a great trip home and write again soon. Your old friend, Nick.
Hey Nick! I never thought we would get another foreman as good as you, but guess I'm lucky that way. We did a good thing there, didn't we? Nice to hear from you. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
I remember seeing boots on wires by the barracks all the time *gets lost in a moment of reflection*I love the pic. It has a quality to it that makes me see so many diferent things. New beginnings, the desire to leave something of yourself, a bit of reluctance to really leave, times that can never be recaptured....It is distinctly possible that I read far too much into it, but I like it anyhow.Much congrats on getting them up there on the first shot, and all that awards stuff too ;)
Sounds right to me...interesting that I inadvertently stumbled on a "barracks tradition." I will assume then that I was some how inspired. ;-)
Perhaps you were inspired. Maybe it was some inate desire to join the Army....I happen to be on VERY close terms with a recruiter if you're interested ;) Bwahahaha!!!
