The Kurds dwell in the mountains of the North and East and since the No-fly zone from Desert Storm over ten years ago, the Kurds have been free from Saddam and have become very industrious and economically advanced than those who were freed just recently.
But, yes, that's why I am sharing all these stories and pictures. It's an Iraq you just don't hear about I guess because negative news is more spell-binding?

Is that near Kirkuk? Snowy mountains are not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Iraq.
